"Harriet
Tubman: The Chosen One"
written and performed
by Gwendolyn Briley-Strand
A show celebrating the life of a great American, Harriet Tubman.
Harriet Tubman is often thought of as a figure in the distant American past, yet she lived well into the twentieth century,
until 1913. Her strength, courage, faith and steadfastness are still inspiring Americans over eighty years after her death.
She was called the "Moses" of her people chosen to lead those bound by slavery into the promise land of freedom.
"Harriet Tubman - The Chosen One" is a dynamic one-woman show that takes its audience on 1 of the journeys
Ms. Tubman took through the Underground Railroad.
