Actor Gwendolyn Briley-Strand, brings one of the iconic face's and Civil Rights icon to life, Ms. Rosa Parks.
At the urging from the Maryland Humanities Council, she developed her second one-woman play. "Rosa Parks: Such A Time". It has been performed in schools, churches, organizations and theatres nationally.
She sat, so we could stand.
Thank you! We greatly appreciated Gwendolyn's amazing performance. Our students and teachers were raving about it, and we were really blown away by her singing voice. We are excited and are looking forward to having a furure performance.
